Hi there. we’re
Linda
& Sia
We’re so happy you’re here!
We’re married bffs and a wedding & portrait photography team located in Portland and KC.
We’re focused on documenting your true self and your authentic story. We’ll laugh, dance a little with you, and make lasting memories while capturing you.
Lauj Co. is Asian-owned and inclusive to all races and LGBTQ+. PNW-based, but we travel worldwide.
Our values
timeless
We focus on quality and are passionate about creating meaningful photographs that will last a lifetime.
Artful
Every shoot and story is different. Our interactions and editing styles reflect who you are and how things felt in the moment.
fun
We’re both a little silly and goofy. You don’t have to dread photos. Our focus is for you to have a grand time.
Our Why
Truly, we have the best “job” in the world and the highest honor of capturing people on so many different walks of life, and we don’t take that lightly. We get to be front row to people’s best days, big celebrations, and milestones. Best of all, we end up becoming friends. Over all else, we focus on you having the best experience.
We want to give you more than posed photos, but a true connection, friendship, and trust with your photographers. We care deeply for you and your story, and we want to be more than just photographers for you.
We hope you feel more than “getting the shoot done” with us. Our main priority is that you have a great time. Photos don’t have to be awkward and a dreadful time—we’ll make sure you’re having a good time with memories that will last a lifetime.
Linda Lauj
Linda grew up in her Viet household with a big heart for everything creative. Shooting portraits and weddings since 2012, she’s mastered the balance of being a senior art director by day, and photographer by night. Linda loves a challenge and, at any given moment, she’s marathon training, obsessing over their shiba inus, Mochi & Melon, or hopping on the next available flight to a new destination.
Little known fact
Linda has never ate at Taco Bell, even though she’s not a picky eater.
Sia Lauj
Did Sia envision himself as a photographer ever? No, but Lauj Co. wouldn’t exist (or be named) without him joining in on the fun. Sia’s passions are in fashion and product design, and is inspired by his Hmong heritage. You’ll most likely find him playing volleyball, snowboarding, or holding his title as Head Chef at the Lauj Household.
Little known fact
Sia recently finished adult swimming courses! It’s never too late to learn new life skills in adulthood.
